Hey there! Considering that you are looking at this post right now, I guess you are one of the 99% of the people with Windows 8, who took to swearing at Microsoft for even considering an OS like Windows 8. Also, you wanna know whether the Windows 10 is good enough to clean up the Windows 8 mess. The good news is, we are saved. Just like when Windows 7 came to save us from the brainless Vista, the Windows 10 has come to save us from the Windows 8. The Windows 10 is also the most tested version till now. The windows 10 is also free for users using licensed versions of Windows.
Basically, the Windows 10 can be defined as the best of both worlds, that is, the best aspects of Windows 7 and Windows 8 have been combined to get close to perfection. For example, the start menu from 7 is back while the Windows 8 Live Tiles menu is kinda placed inside the start menu of the Windows 10. The themes in Windows 10 are completely awesome. Also, maneuvering between apps and menus has also become easier.
There is also an action center which is basically a notification center, which is pretty cool.
CORTANA
Microsoft has also introduced a like-SIRI virtual assisstant, called Cortana. It is also linked to microsoft edge, which is a really good idea. I will be talking about it later. Cortana is currently unavailable in India, but Microsoft has promised that it be available soon. It is cloud powered and you can choose what it remembers.
EDGE
Microsoft has also introduced a new browser, Edge, instead of the Internet Explorer, which even they felt needed to replaced. The new browser is quite plain and dim, and doesn't offer a lot of options. But still, anything other than the Internet Explorer is good with me, personally. But there is a really cool and useful feature in Edge. Cortana is integrated into it. This means, you can search for various info like weather, life histories of famous people, etc.
VERDICT
Though there are many bugs in the Windows 10, it is the best version on release, for now. It will show massive improvements after some updates.
