Hey guys! It's Dr. Techie. Today I'll be reviewing the Moto G3.
The Moto G3 is the third version of the much appreciated Moto G. Though they belong to the same family, the difference between the earlier versions and the G3 is humongous. It is very refined and sure to meet up with our expectations.
Hardware:
The phone is manufactured really well. There are no squeaks or wobbles as far as I could see. It also has a removable back cover which feels really great to hold and is ribbed diagonally. And, like the earlier versions, it also has multi-colored back panels. A new addition is the metallic strip at the back which holds the 13MP camera and the Dual LED flash. The volume rockers and the power buttons seem to be of good quality and are responsive. It is also water resistant and can survive in 1m of water for upto 30 minutes.
Display:
The phone features a 5-inch HD Screen(720x1080p). The colors are great and better than the A7000. The screen also comes with Corning gorilla glass 3.
Software:
The phone runs the latest version of Android, v5.1.1. It is stock android with some slight modifications from Motorola. The Android OS and Motorola adjustments complement each other very well.
Camera:
Currently, the phone with the best camera in the Under-15k range is the Moto G3. It has a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera with a dual LED flash. There are a wide range of options to choose from like HDR, Panorama, Geotagging, etc.
Performance:
The phone features a 64-bit quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 306 and 2gigs of RAM. Out of the 16GB ROM around 10 GB is available for the user.
Finally, This phone is a good phone under the 15k range but with phones like the K3 note, The meizu m1, etc. it is not the best phone out there.
Dr. Techie's score: 18.7/20
