Review:
Hey guys! Today I'll be reviewing the New Xiaomi Mi4i.
The Xiaomi Mi4i was supposed to be a revised and affordable version of the Mi 4. The back cover is a matte polycarbonate finish unlike the Mi 4. It is not so good, but still not bad. It also feels great to hold and touch. The power button and the volume rockers are of good quality and are very responsive. It is a dual sim device. Both the SIMs support 4G LTE. One massive blow to this phone is the inability to extend the phone's memory. It does have 16gb and 32gb ROM versions, though. Another thing is that you can't open the back cover of the phone. A thing I like about the phone is the availability of seven different lights for the notification LED. It doesn't weigh much, just about 130 grams.
The Display. It is one of the most remarkable things about this phone. The screen resolution is 1920p x 1080p with a pixel density of a whopping 441 ppi. The colors are fantastic and are very accurate. It also has sunlight technology which makes the phone capable of adjusting the brightness according to the sunlight intensity.It all goes very well with a 5 inch full HD screen.
Now, the performance. The Mi 4i runs a 64-bit octa core processor from Qualcomm snapdragon. It also has Adreno 405 graphics and 2GB ram. The performance is good, but not good enough. There is no big heating issue with this phone.
The best thing about this phone is the camera. The 13MP primary camera with a dual LED flash and can shoot some serious photos. It also has a really awesome HDR mode.
The phone runs under a MIUI 6 OS with Android v5.0.2 and contains a lot of tricks and new modes.
But it does take up a lot of RAM, about 800 MB.
